When I set out to tell the story of Bootlegger Vodka it was intended to focus primarily on the product, but ended up centering around the unlikely journey of its founders.
My approach was to showcase the distillery – tasting room, quality of the product, and craft distilling, but create an undertone of every man humanity. The goal was to get the viewers to parallel their own hopes and dreams with those of Brian and John.
This underdog story line is carried through to the connection with the town of Roscoe and the founder’s passion for building something within a once prosperous place that had recently fallen on hard times.
This video has been consistently used in Prohibition Distillery’s marketing materials and investor packets.
